Our plans are so easy that even kids can build this treb. As a matter of fact, a lot do. Many of families have also built our treb. So have corporate team building groups, clubs, the US Navy, students and even a Physics class. These plans let you build a trebuchet with just basic skills and tools. And most of your materials are just around the corner at your local lumber yard or home improvement store.
See for yourself. Below are some pics of a school club's project and a family's garage project:
Good morning, Pete,
My name is Zach Wingate and I'm a part of the IVC Ag Club. My professor, Pat Pauley, got a set of your plans recently and you've been extremely helpful. On behalf of everyone here in the Ag Club, I wanted to thank you for all of the questions you answered and for offering such great the plans. We're hoping to use the trebuchet for quite a few years to come.
Attached to this e-mail are a few of the construction pictures and a video of the first test run of our trebuchet. It's a bit modified, but with your plans as a guide, it runs quite smoothly and we have yet to have a problem
